Hey Coogs!
We are thrilled to have you join the Coogs for Christ family and cannot wait to get to know you. We strive to become followers of Jesus and spread his ministry all over campus, and the world in general! To help you get involved, here are a few events we have planned over the first two weeks of school events, more events will be posted with time.

Note: All event locations (atrium, meditation chapel, room 101) are in A.D. Bruce Religion Center (ADBRC) unless noted otherwise.
WEEK OF MOVE-INS

Thurs. 8/18 – International Student Fair 10am-12pm (Student Center South Ballroom)

Fri. 8/19 – Bar-B-que-jah! 7pm (Clint’s house).

Grilling and chilling. Invite your friends. Pack the house.

WEEK ONE

Mon. 8/22 – International Student Mixer 7-8pm (Meditation Chapel)

Come connect with other students from around the world and enjoy some snacks and giveaways.

- Tues. 8/23 – New Student Mixer 1:30-3:00pm (Meditation Chapel)
Whether you’re a freshman, transfer student, or otherwise new to UH – come enjoy some snacks and giveaways! - Wed. 8/24 – Free Lunch 11:30am-1:00pm (Atrium). Domino’s pizza and lots of new friends.

Thurs. 8/25 – Ladies’ Small Group 12-2pm (Room 101). Hosted by Adesewa.

Thurs. 8/25 – Discovering Jesus 7pm (adbrc 202). Join us for a weekly teaching on the words and life of Jesus in the gospel of Luke.

Sat. 8/27 – Welcome Worship 5:30-7:30pm (Atrium) Start your semester off the right way by putting Jesus first! Church service at 5:30pm followed by pizza at 6:30.
WEEK TWO

Mon. 8/29 – Guys’ Small Group 3-5pm (Room 101). Hosted by David, weekly.

Tues. 8/30 – Prayer Power-Up 1:30-2:00 pm (Meditation Chapel) Need an extra minute with Jesus or want to rally together at semester’s launch? Join us for 30 minutes of praying together.

Wed. 8/31 – Christian Student Mixer 1:30-2:30pm (Meditation Chapel) Come connect with other Christians on campus and enjoy some snacks and giveaways.

Thurs. 9/1 – Discovering Jesus 7pm (adbrc 202) Join us for a weekly teaching on the words and life of Jesus in the gospel of Luke.

Thurs. 9/1 – Shasta’s Open House (religion center front lawn) UH-wide event for students to explore campus. Religion Center will be a “hub” with music, ice cream, and tables for ministries.

Thurs. 9/1 – Ladies’ Small Group 12-2pm (Room 101) Hosted by Sewa, weekly.
- Fri. 8/2 – Fun Outing – TDB – Fill out a contact form to stay-in-touch about this!
WEEKLY OFFICE HOURS
- Monday – Thursdays, 10am-3pm
